This shirt is special. A friend from high school shared a story with me a few months back about a phrase she said to her students at her gym. One specific student had accomplished winning a national championship for gymnastics at the age of 17. The phrase stuck with her and we wanted to bring it to life. Much like Just a kid from Maine, this phrase now more than ever is true. Many of us in Maine come from very small towns by comparison to most states. To most people out of the state we live in the 'middle of nowhere.'
