This one is the most personal for myself. It has many meanings. Since this all began and life got really weird and confusing for many, my mother has been telling me, “one day at a time.” We adopted it here at the store, I keep telling myself, one day at a time. If you’re home, not able to get to a gym or see family, a friend and feel like you can’t take much more, hopefully this is a reminder to take it one day at a time, and control what you can control. Secondly, my college football coach always told us this great quote by Edward Everett Hale. He said, “ I am only one, But still I am one. I cannot do everything, But still I can do something; And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do. It has stuck with me to this day. And Finally, we are ONE. We are all the same, we are all Mainers. We all need to come together, be there for one another, and do what’s best for us. Help those if you can, be there for those struggling, and use this as an opportunity to see that we are all one. If you got this far, thanks for reading. A shirt can mean many things, and this one means a whole lot to me.
